PRIVACY POLICY OF FIRECOATINGSTECH.COM STORE

  2. The administrator of personal data is Edward Chem with its registered office in Poland, at: ul. Pułaskiego 9b, 08-110 Siedlce (hereinafter: “Administrator”).
  3. The Administrator conducts sales of products within the European Union, the United States (USA), and other countries worldwide.
  4. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and relevant national regulations.
  5. The Administrator makes every effort to protect the privacy and information provided by Users, regardless of their country of origin.

§ 2. Purposes and Legal Basis for Data Processing

The Administrator processes personal data for the following purposes:

  1. Order fulfillment and sales contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) – handling the shopping cart, shipping goods (including international shipping), payments, and User account management.
  2. Compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR) – issuing invoices, bookkeeping, and customs handling for shipments outside the EU.
  3. Communication with the Customer (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – handling inquiries via the contact form or e-mail (legitimate interest of the Administrator).
  4. Analytical and statistical purposes (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – analyzing website traffic to improve the functionality of the Store.

§ 3. Data Recipients

Personal data may be transferred to cooperating entities necessary for order fulfillment:

  1. Courier companies and brokers (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL, DPD) – to deliver the shipment to the recipient’s country.
  2. Payment operators (e.g., PayPal, Stripe, PayU) – to securely process domestic and international payments.
  3. Customs services – in the case of shipments outside the European Union (e.g., to the USA), data necessary for customs clearance (package content, recipient data) is shared with relevant customs authorities.
  4. IT service providers – hosting companies and software providers supporting the store’s operation.

§ 4. Data Transfer Outside the European Economic Area (EEA)

Due to the global reach of the Store, the Administrator may transfer personal data outside the EEA only when necessary (e.g., shipping goods to the USA).

  1. Order fulfillment: If the User orders goods for delivery to a country outside the EEA (e.g., USA), transferring address data to a courier company in that country is necessary for the performance of the contract (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).
  2. Analytical tools: The Administrator uses services from providers (e.g., Google Analytics) that may store data on servers in the USA. These entities ensure an adequate level of data protection by applying Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

§ 5. User Rights

Every User, regardless of their place of residence, has rights under the GDPR:

  1. Right to access their data and receive a copy of it.
  2. Right to rectification (correction) of data.
  3. Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”).
  4. Right to restriction of processing.
  5. Right to data portability.
  6. Right to object.
  7. Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: President of the Personal Data Protection Office).

§ 6. Cookies

  1. The Store uses cookies to ensure the proper functioning of the website (maintaining sessions, remembering language, shopping cart).
  2. The User can independently manage cookie settings in their web browser.
